The below product updates are scheduled to go live September 9, 2024. Release notes for each update will be added here once it is available in your test environment.
Session Builder Edit Rights: The settings for a session builder's editing rights (i.e. are they able to edit session details, manage speakers, manage categories, assign abstracts, etc) have been moved from the role, to the rules. Previously, setting the session building edit rights on the role meant that all conferences and sessions types using that role had to have the same rights. Moving the edit rights to the rule allows unique editing rights for a session builder across different conferences and session types. i.e. a Session Builder for Concurrent Sessions in the Spring Conference can have different editing privileges than a Session Builder for Abstracts at the Fall Conference without the need to create and manage separate roles.
A video walk through of the functionality can be found here.
Category X Time Grid - Display Conflicts: The Category X Time Grid will no display "Has Conflicts" in red under any sessions where a room conflict exists.
People Reports - Updated Filter: Select people reports have been updated to include a new "Membership Organization Filter Logic" filter below the existing "Membership Organization" filter. The new filter works in conjunction with the "Member Organization" filter, allowing you to:
- Find people that have at least one of the selected membership organizations.
- Find people that have none of the selected boards.
The following reports will have the new filter:
- Run Report > People > Ad-Hoc Report > Ad-Hoc Report
- Run Report > People > Credit Reports > Credits Report
- Run Report > People > Credit Reports > Credit Summary Per Person
- Run Report > People > Credit Reports > Activity Awarded Credit Summary
The new filter provides a more nuanced option for filtering by member organizations and allows you to easily see what individuals may not have selected any member organizations so you can reach out to them and remind them to.
